Current Positions
Programmer / Developer
Candidate will have experience using ticket systems for tracking technology requests and challenges, as well as a talent for managing many concurrent tasks; be expected to troubleshoot requests and challenges with company supported applications/platforms and determine the appropriate resources and/or personnel needed to work each task. In most instances, candidate will provide a communications conduit between the user and the personnel working the task; be expected to recognize when a given task will benefit from automation and recommend the actions needed to do so. When possible, the candidate will be expected to personally develop solutions using available resources and/or personnel.
Responsibilities
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, phone and electronically. Diagnose and resolve technical application issues. Research questions using available information resources. Advise user on appropriate action. Direct requests and challenges to the appropriate resource. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. Track and route tasks and requests, and document resolutions. Stay current with system information, changes and updates. Build internal tools to automate and manage common tasks. Create reports using SQL queries that pull data from various data sources.
Minimum Qualifications
The qualified candidate should be self motivated / self directed, have excellent oral and written communication skills, be a quick learner, possess customer service orientation, cognitive skills, and adaptability, be self-organizing with an attention to detail and solution oriented. Required Technical Skill sets are as follows: Ticket Systems/Queues, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ColdFusion, including, Queries, CFScript, User-Interface implementation and MVC Architectures. Microsoft SQL Server with experience in basic SQL query constructs, Multi-table joins and Group operations and experience using SQL Enterprise Manager and/or SQL Server Management Studio. Recommended Skill sets are: XSLT, XPath, Java, Regular Expressions, XML based standards.

Criminal Records Research Specialist
This position will be responsible for researching criminal records and delivering client services using BIB's proprietary software applications. Qualified candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be proficient with learning new software and computer tasks, and be responsible with time management. Candidates looking for an entry-level opportunity to enter a research position will not be overlooked.
Responsibilities
Perform criminal records research using computer-based software and web applications. Record research results, and maintain activity records for research performed. Place telephone calls and manage email correspondence related to BIB research.

Court Records Retriever
Responsible for physically visiting court houses within specified jurisdictions to research and retrieve court records. Qualified candidates are currently self-employed and have a minimum 2 years experience in the field as a court record retriever; possess the technology and means to communicate real-time through email, mobile phone and the internet.
Responsibilities
Perform accurate court record research at the main court of record and, upon request, the municipal and/ or district courts within a specified jurisdiction; maintain detailed records for research performed; place telephone calls, manage email correspondence and receive/transmit records via the Company’s proprietary web-based application. Researcher will adhere to the practices as outlined by the NAPBS Criminal Research Provider Guidelines.

Business Development (Sales)
Develop and maintain new business relationships. Qualified candidates should have industry experience and existing business relationships; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess confidence when presenting to board level executives at Fortune companies.
Responsibilities
Process qualified leads initiated through cold-calling, tradeshows, advertising and other marketing strategies; consult with prospective clients to develop custom, client specific employment screening solutions; represent BIB at business/industry tradeshows and conferences. This position will require some travel.
